We have many transport options available to get you to your Mighty Stride and Big Stroll start lines and back again. Read through your options below:

GLASGOW MIGHTY STRIDE MORNING BUS (MUST BE BOOKED)

Tickets cost £7.50 per person

Leaving from Loch Lomond Shores where there is plenty of parking available and taking you to the Mighty Stride start at Glasgow Green.

Available departure times:

7:00am (for 8:30am wave)

7:30am (for 9:00am wave)

8:15am (for 9.30am/10.00am wave)

There are additional pick-up points located in Dumbarton (Dalreoch Station, G82 4BX) and Clydebank Bus Stance (Chalmers Street, G81 1RT)

Journey time from Lomond Shores is approx. 1 hour and will drop you at the Greendyke Street entrance of Glasgow Green.

GLASGOW BIG STROLL MORNING BUS (MUST BE BOOKED)

Tickets cost £7.50 per person

Leaving from Loch Lomond Shores where there is plenty of parking available and taking you near to the Big Stroll start at Three Queens Square, Clydebank.

Journey time from Lomond Shores is approx. 30mins and will drop you at the Clydebank Bus Stance, Chalmers Street, Clydebank G81 1RT which is roughly a 5 minute walk to the Big Stroll start at Three Queens Square.

Available departure times:

7:30am (for 8:30am wave)

8.15am (for 9:00/9:30am wave)

There is an additional pick-up point located in Dumbarton (Dalreoch Station, G82 4BX)

RETURN KILTWALK BUSES (MUST BE BOOKED)

Tickets cost £7.50 per person

Afternoon and evening buses will run from 12:30pm until 10:30pm and ONLY stop at the designated Kiltwalk drop-off points:

The Kiltwalk bus leaves from Balloch Bus Stance (Behind Co-op, Balloch, G83 8JZ)

Designated drop-off points:

Dumbarton (Dalreoch Station, Dumbarton, G82 4BX)

Clydebank (Clydebank Bus Stance, Chalmers Street, G81 5DB)

Glasgow Central (Argyle Street Bus Stop, Glasgow, G2 5DB)

Glasgow Green (Greendyke Street, Glasgow, G1 5DB)

Full journey time from Balloch to Glasgow is approx. 1 hour.

Before you book a timeslot, please think carefully about how long it will take to complete your challenge and enjoy all the fun the Kiltwalk Village has to offer.

SHUTTLE BUS (FREE - NO BOOKING REQUIRED)

There will be a free Shuttle Service operating between Balloch Bus Stance and Lomond Shores Overflow Car Park every 15 minutes between 09:30am – 8:00pm

This is a free service and does not require booking.

ADDITIONAL INFO ON GLASGOW KILTWALK BUSES

Please arrive at your pick-up location roughly 15 minutes before your bus is due to leave.

A reminder email with all your bus ticket details will be sent Monday 22 April.

Bus tickets are non-refundable.

Service dogs only permitted on these services. Please email [email protected] if you are planning on travelling with a service dog.
