It’s that time of year again when Centrestage get the tartan looked ‘oot’ and this time, they’re on a mission to make a difference!
The Kiltwalk is a significant event for Centrestage and they want to make 2018 their biggest and best year yet!
As social isolation and loneliness continues to grow across Ayrshire, Centrestage are on a mission to change this.
Every penny raised through the Kiltwalk will help towards funding the first ever ‘Centrestage Bus’, yes – that’s right! A wonderful #funfoodfolk bus. Lack of transport across Ayrshire stops folks being able to attend Gie it Laldy, Musical Generations, Aspire or any Shows and Productions, resulting in limited social engagement or activity. Help Centrestage change this and take a ‘Wee Wander’ with their team on Sunday 29th April and help make a difference.
Team Centrestage are focusing on the Wee Wander this year, although they would love you to take on any distance and support their cause. The Wee Wander is approximately six miles and perfect for all the family, taking around 2-3 hours to complete. We would love you to be part of the #CSwanderforthebus campaign this year. As well as raising funds for Centrestage, having a great day and getting fit at the same time, The Hunter Foundation add a further 40% on top of what you raise.
For more information please call Centrestage on 01563 551505 and ask for either Frank, Miche or Kim their Kiltwalk ambassadors who’ll be more than happy to help. Please check out their website here.
