Get Your Charity Involved

The Kiltwalk is a unique fundraising vehicle that allows all charities to receive every single penny their walkers raise.

Raising funds for your charity or local cause is easy! And thanks to Sir Tom Hunter and the Hunter Foundation, 100% of all the money that your supporters raise comes to you with an additional 40% boost.

Benefits to your charity

  • No event costs – Getting involved in the Kiltwalk is completely free, so all of the money your supports raise goes to your charitable projects and not tied up on event costs.
  • 140% of fundraising – Kiltwalk is a powerful enabler for Scottish charities and local causes to use for fundraising. All money raised comes into the Kiltwalk and is then paid out in full to your chosen charity along with a brand new 40% bonus from The Hunter Foundation.
  • Unrestricted funds – All fundraising made by your Kiltwalk supporters will come to you to use across any charity related project you wish.
  • Inclusive fundraising event – Kiltwalks are inclusive walking events that allow all the family to get involved. Many charities get their service users involved. See an example of how ENABLE get involved in the Kiltwalk.

How to get involved

  • Register your charity* – Complete the charity or local cause registration form so that you are visible in the Kiltwalk registration process and your supporters can easily select you as their chosen charity. Once we complete our checks, we will send you login details to our ‘Charity Dashboard’ which allows you to monitor your Kiltwalk sign ups and fundraising. *please note that it can take up to three working days to complete charity registration.
  • Charity Toolkit 2017 – Get your supporters to sign up! Download our useful toolkit and start spreading the word today.
  • Discount Pincodes – Want to make it even easier for your charity supporters? The Kiltwalk can set up discount pincodes so can offer money off Kiltwalk registration fees at a price point that works in with your charity budget. Whether it’s 5% or 100% off registration fees, many Scottish charities have found that pincodes are an excellent way of encouraging walkers to sign up and fundraise for their charity.
  • Subscribe to the Kiltwalk Charity network – Want to keep up to date on all Kiltwalk Charity updates and events? Sign up to the Kiltwalk charity network.
