Action For Children

Making their Pit Stop debut!

Action for Children are incredibly excited to have our first Kiltwalk Pit Stop to cheer on our biggest ever team of Kiltwalkers and everyone else taking part!

The pandemic and cost of living increases have pushed many families into crisis. At Action for Children we help children across the UK to grow up safe and happy. We offer practical and emotional support to families, and we're working with decision-makers to make sure government policies protect children, now and in the future.

The Kiltwalk is one of our favourite ways to raise money for this vital work and the 50% top up from The Hunter Foundation makes a huge difference. Raising £50 means we could provide emergency food packages for two families in crisis.

Carter Duffy, aged 4, walked 26 miles during the Virtual Kiltwalk Weekend in 2021 and raised £1,200 for the Action for Children disability short breaks service his brother uses. The money raised was used to repair the broken roundabout in the service’s sensory garden.

Walkers like Carter can make all the difference to a Charity like ours. That's why all Action for Children Kiltwalkers get a FREE t-shirt and a FREE place at The Kiltwalk with the promo code: AFCFREE2022.
