In 2011 participants raised a remarkable average of nearly £300 each.
We know that not everyone will manage that - but we ask that everyone taking part raises a minimum of £100.
The Kiltwalk is no easy challenge - it's a tough day and also requires weeks of training. Your efforts are worth a lot.

Ways to fundraise
Paper sponsorship forms
You'll receive these with your welcome pack. Don't be shy - you'd be surprised how successful you can be just by asking people to sponsor you..
*important - please ask your friends to tick the gift aid box, and write down their name and address. It adds a massive 28% difference to the amount raised*
Online Sponsorship
You'll already have set up your own fundraising page as part of registration.
Our advice is to email your friends individually - group emails tend to be less successful
Facebook and Twitter
Do you have a Facebook page? Use it to tell your friends what you're doing!
Organise other stuff!
Last year people added to their sponsorship by organising bucket collections at work, raffles and race nights
Employee Matching
Many employers will match what you raise - ask at work to see if they'll do this for you.
Good luck and thanks!
